Deputy Minister of Interior resigns
The Deputy Minister of Interior has already submitted a letter of resignation due to his poor health conditions.
Mr. Prasong Kositanon (ประสงค์ โฆษิตานนท์ ), the Deputy Minister of Interior, has submitted his letter of resignation to the PM which will become effective from today. He revealed that his resignation was a result of his poor health conditions that could prevent him from performing his duty to his utmost efforts. Therefore, he believed that his resignation was a way to show his responsibility and to provide opportunity to a candidate who would be most suitable for this position.
So far, Mr. Prasong’s political party, Puea Pan Din, has already nominated Mr. Chaiyos Jiramethagorn (ชัยยศ จิรเมธากรณ์) to compete for the deputy ministerial seat.
