GROUNDBREAKING SUPPLEMENT
Three-day event to launch Post’s MyLife
People should diversify their investments amid the present political uncertainty, Thanop Iam-amornphan, a personal finance expert, suggested at the official launch of MyLife, a special Thursday supplement with the Bangkok Post.

Mr Thanop, also a guest writer of the section, said people should put aside at least 30% of their income as savings.
When people settle down with a family, another thing they should consider is saving for their children’s education. Low-moderate risk mutual funds are recommended, he said.
A three-day event, running until tomorrow, to launch MyLife is being held at Siam Paragon. It was kicked off last night by Post Publishing Plc’s deputy chief operating officer Supakorn Vejjajiva.
Umesh Pandey, MyLife editor, said the new section is the result of a reader survey.
“The supplement contains five key sub-sections on family, health, education, money and home which is what most readers said they wanted to read,” he said.
The three-day launch includes a briefing on money management, DIY workshops, and family activities.
