23 cases of illegal activities filed in the morning
The Deputy Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, Pol Gen Vichien Potphosri, said 23 cases of illegal activities were filed during the Bangkok governor election on Sunday from 8am to 12pm.
He said most of them involved the sales of alcoholic beverages, and six of those were filed in Bangkok Noi police station.
Pol Gen Vichien said he has reminded the police to act neutral, and almost 15,000 police officers have been assigned to safeguard the ballot boxes until the vote-counting begins.
