Balloon festival
CentralWorld, in collaboration with Balloon Art, Modern Mom magazine, and Homerun Entertainment, is hosting the “3rd Thailand Balloon Festival” under the theme “Story of the Jungle” from now until October 12.
During the fair, CentralWorld’s Eden zone on the first floor will be turned into a jungle with awide array of wildlife and plants, all made of colourful balloons.
Highlights will include a balloon tree, 10 metres in diameter, and wild balloon animals, including an elephant, monkeys, lions and giraffes.
For the first time in Thailand, the festival will feature storytelling with the use of balloons, designed by a world champion, Azusa Ieizumi. The performers will be from Baby Mime, a mime theatre troupe in Thailand.
Participants will also enjoy balloon workshops by Balloon Art, shows by several animation mascots, including 4 Angies, as well as a storytelling and origami paper art show by TV celebrity Chayada Liewchalermwong.
