To promote and support Thai people and organizations to use in order to improve their productivity and skill, Thailand cooperate with nine companies create Software for Society project provide software free of charge to 80 schools, nongovernment organization, healthcare local hospital, local healthcare as well as municipal government, and , totally worth Bt27 million.

Suwipa Wanasathop, director of Thailand said that the Software for Society project which is corporate society responsibility (CSR) is aims to promote usage as well as contribute system and solutions to support government, nongovernment (NGO), healthcare, and free of charge which cost around Bt27 million.

“This is the first which distributes software development to support public free of charge and leverage usage of in the future. I think that the project will have good effect to society, and as a whole,” said Suwipa.

For the government, NGO and , the project offer enterprise resource planning (GERP), Collaborative WebBased Application, Hospital Informatics System named Hospital OS, and Multimedia Contact or call center in order to enhance their operation process, management process so that information technology will able to boost their productivity organization and management as a whole.

Meanwhile, the , the corporation will provide such as Saijai which is Internet Parental , iDictionary, and 3D Mixed Reality Learning, Boost life game, and online to 80 schools nationwide.

Jumrud Sawangsamud, chief executive officer of International Research Company (IRC) said that the project will enable organizations utilize information technology apply to adopt their organizations conduct their productivity of government organizations and as a whole. As a result, they can create good governance and knowledge information based in their organization.

Pongskorn Saipetch, managing director of Atrium Technology said that the firm distribute Saijai, which is to support the project so that parent will have tools able to monitor their children to access the Internet in order to protect their children away from unsecured situation and capture Internet access of their children.

The one year project comes with the corporation of Thailand and another nine local partners including IRCP Group, Thai Software Enterprise, CT Asia , Picsoft, LarnGear Technology, TeamWork, Open Source Technology, Atrium Technology, and Suranaree University of Technology.
