3 teachers receive outstanding

SINGAPORE : Three teachers on Friday received awards for their efforts in educating .

One is a trained dancer, while the other two teachers have more than a decade of teaching experience each.

Ms Wong Geok Choo, a trained dancer, was a before joining Pathlight School.

The school’s principal said Ms Wong, the assistant head at Pathlight, has honed the art of giving.

Ms Chui Kit May from Chaoyang School said she will never be bored teaching pupils with autism.

Heading Chaoyang School’s Department for Pupil Well-being, Ms Siti Anita has seen her track and field pupils go on to compete in the Special overseas.

The three teachers received their awards from the Senior for Education and National Development Grace Fu.

Two schools were also awarded for innovation.

Chaoyang School was recognised for its internet cafe, which teaches life skills that students can apply in real situations.
