Umno divisional meetings : Division wants December polls
The Star Online
KUANTAN : Kuantan Umno wants the party leadership to revert the party annual general assembly and elections to the original dates in December instead of March.
“What is the reason for holding the annual meeting in March? The Kuantan Umno division wants the meeting to be held as scheduled in December,” division chief Datuk Wan Adnan Wan Mamat said yesterday,
“Let the power transition be in March as agreed, but the general assembly should be held on the original date.”
Adnan said his division believed that all divisions should nominate Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin for president and deputy president.
