MAS Flights To Mumbai Operating On Schedule
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 27 (Bernama) — Despite several bombing incidents in Mumbai yesterday, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flights from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to and from the Indian city are operating on schedule.
MAS director of operations Datuk Tajuden Abu Bakar said flight MH195 which departed from Mumbai at 11.55pm yesterday, arrived at KLIA at 7.20 this morning.
Today’s flight MH194 to Mumbai was also on schedule to depart KLIA at 8.05pm, he said.
“We are monitoring the situation in Mumbai very closely after the bombing incidents in the city yesterday, and working with the relevant authorities to ensure continued smooth flight operations,” he said in a statement.
Tajuden said if there were changes to the current flight schedules, MAS would contact their passengers and update them accordingly.
“We also encourage our customers to call our 24-hour toll-free number 1300 88 3000 for updates,” he said.
MAS operates a Boeing B777 flight to and from Mumbai daily.
