A company employee on her way to work Monday picks up ginkgo nuts that fell from rows of golden-leaved ginkgo trees on a street near the Imperial Palace in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo. The vivid autumn hues of the leaves are a gentle reminder of the changing seasons amid the sea of concrete and skyscrapers in the area.
