HOPING IN THE RAIN

Relatives of missing or dead activists, (from left to right) Sumarsih, mother of Wawan B.R.; Norma Irawan, mother of Sumini; Sri Haryati, daughter of Jaini; Suciwati, wife of human rights campaigner Munir; as well as Bejo Untung and Saswoyo, both victims of the 1965 coup, line the street opposite Merdeka Palace on Thursday. The group demonstrate regularly, demanding the government resolve their cases.
