HRH Princess Hjh Masna attends China-Asean Women’s Forum

HER Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, ambassador-at-large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MoFAT), yesterday left for China’s city of Nanning in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, to attend the second China-Asean Women’s Forum.

Themed “A Harmonious Environment for Women’s Development”, the forum will take place from October 20-22 .

The forum aims to promote the existing friendship and cooperation among women’s institutions and organisations of Asean member countries and China.

Following the forum, Her Royal Highness will visit Nanjing in Jiangsu province, from October 23-24 to open the Brunei Water Courtyard in the Brunei Heritage Garden.

Her Royal Highness is accompanied by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Hj Abdul Aziz.

Present to greet Her Royal Highness farewell at the airport were Pg Anak Hj Abdul Wadood Bolkiah Pg Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pg Anak Hj Abdul Aziz and wife, Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Tong Xiaoling and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Meanwhile, Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Ahmad Hj Jumat, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, also left for Nanning yesterday to attend the China-Asean High Level Women’s Forum. (JQR1)
