Best policewoman shooter

HER Royal Highness Princess Hjh Masna, the Policewomen Commandant yesterday presented awards and trophies to winners of the annual Shooting Championship among the various policewomen branches.

Accompanying Her Royal Highness was Princess Hjh Norain, Deputy Policewomen Commandant, at the prize presentation ceremony at the Gadong police headquarters’ Officers Mess.

The championship, which was held earlier in the year, resulted with Team 3 winning the top prize, followed by Team 2 in second place and team 4 winning third place.

Team leader for Team 3 was SAC Sharifah Salmah Dato Syed Hussein Alkaff.

The team leader for Team 4 was HRH Princess Hjh Masna while team leader for Team 2 was HRH Princess Hjh Norain.

The overall category for the Shooting Championship among branches was won by Branch “A” which gained 351 marks while second place went to Branch “E” with 277 marks, and third place went to Branch “B” which also scored 277 marks.

The overall best shooter among the officers was won by ASP Roziawatty with a total of 35 points, using the SIG 239 Pistol and 39 points using the Colt Commando Rifle, while W/L/CPL Hjh Wahyu from Branch “A” won best shooter in the rank and file category. (SRH1) The Brunei Times
